Christmas tags

Cooking with gas! That's me :)
Here is my entry into Rubber Dance's stamping competition. I have made 2 tags. I had a lot of fun with these and even used some products I'd had for ages (buttons and the embossed flowers)
Thanks for checking them out!

Crafty thing!

I finally got time to get a little crafty! Here are 2 tags that I've made to enter the competition at Crafters Cupboard. It was pretty hard to get a photo as the paint that I've used for the base is metallic, so very shiny! You can see that in the second photo.

Christmas Presents…

I made some button fairies for presents. I made one to go in Helen’s Secret Santa pack, I made one for Shannon and one for Stacey as a ‘tide you over’ Christmas present (I haven’t finished their actual presents.. LOL) Here are the button fairies..

Busy Creating!!

First off I would like to wish everyone a very belated Merry Christmas!!! Also a Happy New Year! Anyone got any good resolutions? I plan to keep dieting this year. 2008 Saw me start dieting in the August/September mark and in 2009 I continued until just after June/July when L&E kept mucking up orders, so at the hefty price they were charging I gave them the flick. I went back (tail between legs? lol) in late September to loose a few KG’s before my O/s trip.. but since then I haven’t dieted at all. I have put on about 4-5 kgs.. For Christmas Michael bought me a Wii and the Wii Fit and Balance Board (at my requst). I have been doing it every day and have been enjoying it! The last 2 days have been extremely hot (40 degrees Celsius) and I did 1 hour plus and then 30 mins yesterday. I can feel my muscles.. Little bit of pain, but not too bad. I wouldn’t call it a resolution, but getting healthier is still on my things to do ;)
OK now to crafting!!!! I followed Tim Holtz’s 12 tags of Christmas this year. I loved going everyday and seeing something new to inspire me! I decided to join in their competition. Here are my 12 tags. I hope that you like them!!

Been a little slack

Ok I’ve been a bit slack since getting home LOL I haven’t been to blog once, I think I outdid myself while away ;) Got home on the 16th of Nov, then went up to mum’s that weekend, ended up staying there until the Wednesday. She took me to Beauford so Michael could pick me up close to home. Was lovely catching up with her again! Had been so long since we’d seen each other, she left for her trip on the 19th of August.
Since I’ve been home I have done a little craft stuff. I made 3 cards for the Allcraftz 2nd Birthday.. Made my Wizard of Oz ATC’s and Christmas ATC’s for there too.. Made a couple of cards for a Paperstars swap.. Made a Zetti’ish card for a girl in America who ended up sending me 2 cards, because Michael hid her first one while I was away. So I thought it would be nice to make her a thankyou/apology. Hope you like looking! ChristmasThinking of You Happy Birthday My friend Merry Christmas

Christmas Gifts

Peace star close Shannon Door Hanger 1 shannon Door Hanger bottom shannon Door Hanger top Bec Door Hanger Amara Door Hanger Amara Fairy

The first item (Peace) is made for Neca at swapbot. Who is the most patient person. I hope she likes it, I have made it for our scavenger hunt. The E is a close up.
The next 3 are door hangers and close up's of parts of those. The first is for my best mate Shannon, she loves green. The second is for Bec, Shannon's housemate, not sure what her favourite colour is, so I hope she likes it. The third is for Bec's daughter Amara, she is just 1 so no idea of favourite colours, but it is nice and sparkly so I am sure she will like it :)

Card making madness

As some of you will know there is a card drive for Victorian farmers, which will be given out in Christmas hampers for them to give away to their friends and families when they need a card. I posted it as a topic, so if you want to have a read here it is... Rak Victorian Farmers. The Christmas cards I have made, may go to the actual farmers, or to my friends lol, will have to find out if she needs any Christmas ones ;)

CIMG4962 This is a card for a male, not really happy with it. Just never went the way I wanted lol.
CIMG4964 I like this card. It is cute. Well the stamps are hehe. This is for a child.
CIMG4966 To toot my own horn I really like this card hehe. I think I did a pretty good job :D Again, the stamps are just so cute, how could you not do a good job?
CIMG4968 This card I made after watching a demo at Roz's online SU party. I used 2 new embossing folders, new BG paper and new sentiment stamp that I got from the lovely Ebony. The rose stamp is one I have had for a year or so, love it :)
CIMG4973 This one is similar to the above, but instead of the embossing folder I used a text stamp, which is more like Roz's one. I made 2 like this.
CIMG4970 I like this Christmas card. The photo doesn't show it right, but where the red ends on the left the card itself is finished (the white you see after is the paper I took the photo on). When it opens the green circle stays on the bottom. I used my new embossing border file on this card. Made 3 of these.

This card I made using a cricut cut file, my new embossing file, 3 new stamps and a sentiments stamp.
