Cooking with gas! That's me :)
Here is my entry into Rubber Dance's stamping competition. I have made 2 tags. I had a lot of fun with these and even used some products I'd had for ages (buttons and the embossed flowers)
Thanks for checking them out!
Hey, I am a scrapbooker, card maker, mixed media artist, vegetable gardener genealogist :D I love to do all of the above. I'm a pretty easy going woman that likes to have a really good laugh with friends. I love hanging out with people of mixed backgrounds and get along with pretty much everyone I meet. I am happiest when I'm getting my hands dirty, whether that be with ink and paint or dirt in my veggie patch.
I made some button fairies for presents. I made one to go in Helen’s Secret Santa pack, I made one for Shannon and one for Stacey as a ‘tide you over’ Christmas present (I haven’t finished their actual presents.. LOL) Here are the button fairies..
First off I would like to wish everyone a very belated Merry Christmas!!! Also a Happy New Year! Anyone got any good resolutions? I plan to keep dieting this year. 2008 Saw me start dieting in the August/September mark and in 2009 I continued until just after June/July when L&E kept mucking up orders, so at the hefty price they were charging I gave them the flick. I went back (tail between legs? lol) in late September to loose a few KG’s before my O/s trip.. but since then I haven’t dieted at all. I have put on about 4-5 kgs.. For Christmas Michael bought me a Wii and the Wii Fit and Balance Board (at my requst). I have been doing it every day and have been enjoying it! The last 2 days have been extremely hot (40 degrees Celsius) and I did 1 hour plus and then 30 mins yesterday. I can feel my muscles.. Little bit of pain, but not too bad. I wouldn’t call it a resolution, but getting healthier is still on my things to do ;)
OK now to crafting!!!! I followed Tim Holtz’s 12 tags of Christmas this year. I loved going everyday and seeing something new to inspire me! I decided to join in their competition. Here are my 12 tags. I hope that you like them!!
I have a bunch of new stuff to post and get organised. I hope you’ll check back often! Leave a comment too if you feel so inclined, love to see someone’s out there hahah!
As some of you will know there is a card drive for Victorian farmers, which will be given out in Christmas hampers for them to give away to their friends and families when they need a card. I posted it as a topic, so if you want to have a read here it is... Rak Victorian Farmers. The Christmas cards I have made, may go to the actual farmers, or to my friends lol, will have to find out if she needs any Christmas ones ;)
| This is a card for a male, not really happy with it. Just never went the way I wanted lol. | |
| I like this card. It is cute. Well the stamps are hehe. This is for a child. | |
| To toot my own horn I really like this card hehe. I think I did a pretty good job :D Again, the stamps are just so cute, how could you not do a good job? | |
| This card I made after watching a demo at Roz's online SU party. I used 2 new embossing folders, new BG paper and new sentiment stamp that I got from the lovely Ebony. The rose stamp is one I have had for a year or so, love it :) | |
| This one is similar to the above, but instead of the embossing folder I used a text stamp, which is more like Roz's one. I made 2 like this. | |
| I like this Christmas card. The photo doesn't show it right, but where the red ends on the left the card itself is finished (the white you see after is the paper I took the photo on). When it opens the green circle stays on the bottom. I used my new embossing border file on this card. Made 3 of these. | |
| This card I made using a cricut cut file, my new embossing file, 3 new stamps and a sentiments stamp. |
