43-48/1000 and retreat!

Well I should be packing for the retreat, but I am procrastinating something chronic lol I’ve even moved my fish into another tank in another room, a job I’ve been going to do for weeks. I am so excited about the retreat, just hate the packing part lol, worst still in a few days I have to pack everything up again to come home :o( Here are some inchies, this will be the last post (I think) until I am home from the retreat! Have a great weekend!

So I’m officially way behind in my challenge, but hey, I expected that LOL. There’s lots of time to make it up and lots of time to get further behind bahah!
I really like a few in this lot. I think the heart is my fav, and I am most impressed with it because it was hand drawn.

Here is another 8 Inchies for my challenge.
It’s hard to see but the little girl on the second row has glass glitter on one side of her and mica on the other side. They yellow inchie on the third row is a flower with two buttons on it.

Yay more inchies! I got productive last night. I made 8 inchies and 2 ATC’s. If you want to see the ATC’s they are here, well one is, the other will be posted tomorrow ;)

Renewed faith

I have to say I am glad we went back to Hillston, even though it was for Darren’s funeral. It was lovely to see how the town had supported his family. When we got to town there we got our room and went to get Chinese. When we got to the counter there was a sign saying “Heidi’s freezer is full, please no more food, a tab has been organised at Milne’s (butchers)” When we got out to her place she told us how people had brought over heaps of supplies, one fellow even came out just to chop her wood, another brought a load of wood. The P and C, CWA and CFA all did the catering for the funeral and didn’t charge for it. It reminded me just how awesome a small town is. Fair enough they mightn’t have credit card facilities at 99% of the businesses, but they sure know how to support each other.  

When we left Hillston, I was so angry and even bitter at how we were treated at Cowl Cowl, with what Russel and Jim did, over time I’d really begun to hate Hillston as well. This has renewed my faith in that little town.

Here are my latest two Inchies. The Drama queen one actually has a queen image underneath the stamp text but you can’t really see her unfortunately.  The apple is another hand drawn attempt lol.

Inchies 4-7/1000

Here are another 4 Inchies. I made my first ever Zentangle. My mother has been hassling me for weeks to make one. She does them on ATC’s, so I thought I’d start small lol. I’m not one for hand drawing, but I think I kind of like it.
