Been a little slack

Ok I’ve been a bit slack since getting home LOL I haven’t been to blog once, I think I outdid myself while away ;) Got home on the 16th of Nov, then went up to mum’s that weekend, ended up staying there until the Wednesday. She took me to Beauford so Michael could pick me up close to home. Was lovely catching up with her again! Had been so long since we’d seen each other, she left for her trip on the 19th of August.
Since I’ve been home I have done a little craft stuff. I made 3 cards for the Allcraftz 2nd Birthday.. Made my Wizard of Oz ATC’s and Christmas ATC’s for there too.. Made a couple of cards for a Paperstars swap.. Made a Zetti’ish card for a girl in America who ended up sending me 2 cards, because Michael hid her first one while I was away. So I thought it would be nice to make her a thankyou/apology. Hope you like looking! ChristmasThinking of You Happy Birthday My friend Merry Christmas

ATC CJ – Loulou

CJ - LouLou

Here is LouLou’s ATC. Her’s in the final my CJ line. I couldn’t think what to do Linda’s theme was travel and/or postage stamps. So I went with travel and stamped some postage stamps down the side. I used mostly distressing inks, stamps are PaperArtsy and Clearly Impressed. Both of which I love!

CJ - LouLou closedI stamped the ticket on white card and inked it brown and tore the bottom, scrunched it a little and inked the top again. The ‘keys’ tag I stamped on the same white card and just distressed it with mahogany ink, added an eyelet and a brad so that it can be turned on the ATC. I hope she likes it.

ATC CJ - Marcy

MarcysATC

Here is Marcy’s ATC, her theme was Bright Delights. Mine is a little bit brighter than pictured here but not much. It was lots brighter but I put a pearl over the whole thing to give it some zing and shine, but it kind of dulled it a bit too :( Anyhow. I made the cardstock background used (White cardstock, and used the shaving cream technique) a dark room door set cut the frangipanis out and went around them in black stayzon to make the colour pop more and to make it stand out a little more from the base. I foam mounted 2 of the flowers. Hope she likes it.

5 New ATC’s

Here are my newest ATC’s. They are for the August/September swap at allcraftz. I had quiet a lot of fun making these. Though it was more difficult than my general swaps. I really like a couple of them and am sorry that I don’t get to keep one :( lol. I’ve finally filled 1/2 of my ATC’s I took them to a crop last Friday. I think the ladies liked looking at them. We’re in our own swap, I can’t wait to post what they do!!
Used lots of different techniques for these ATC’s mine is a homage to Ruby, and her first Youtube vid. I’ve embedded the vid in the bottom of this post. I hope it inspires you to try something new.

Black, White and Red

Rachel at Dark Room Door, held a competition to win 1 of 3 stamp sets, to enter you had to do a project (or several) that used Black, White and Red and a Dark Room Door product. I made 9 ATC’s and 3 Postcards. I used mostly their products I also used Tim Holtz products, 1 stamp, distressing inks and I used his perfect pearls. I have already swapped out my postcards, but the 9 atc’s are going to be swapped out in my 5/5 swap on Allcraftz, so come join the swap and you might just get one of mine ;)

ATC CJ - Robyn

Robyn -CJHere is the atc I made for Robyn. Her theme was Autumn. I stamped the background using a Tim Holtz stamp and a clear ink then I pounced perfect pearls over it. Gave it a misting of water to set the pearls. I have a pallet that has re-inkers in it also has perfect pearls and I just add water when I need to use the colour so for the leaves, I rewet my orange, red, yellow and green and on a piece of white cardstock did a real wet wash mixing the colours. Let that dry, painted again, let it dry then stamped the leaves in stazon. I fussy cut those out then went over the leaves using glass bead gel. When that dried I went over it with perfect pearls to make it a little more bronze like. Hope she likes it. Click through to see a MUCH large version.

Explore

CIMG6775 Finally I have finished my Travel ATC’s. These took so long to get out. I think probably doing 11 is a little daunting, plus I knew I didn’t have anything x 11 to be able to use on my ATC’s so it had to be all stamping or computer generated.. Well I could have gone shopping.. LOL.
Anyhow I stamped the Dark Room Door image first, then made a mask out of some scrap card. I placed it on the card, sprayed with home made glimmer sprays, then while it was still wet stamped with the Tim Holtz swirly stamp. Did that 11 times ;o) then painted the buildings and water using distressing inks. I stamped the Dark Room Door  lamps and did a very fussy, cutting. Distressed those with distressing inks and adhered them with mounting tape.. Stamped the word explore in the top right corner. Wow.. It doesn’t sound like much work, but it was, x11 HAHA!

ANSD and P!NK

Bee's CardWow I can’t believe how fast the days are flying by. Last month at Allcraftz was NSD/W here are all the things I made for the challenges. Mostly the sketch challenges were all I achieved. I didn’t win anything though, I don’t even know who did win LOL. I did 4 caGroup 3 Sketch - Cardrds, 6 ATC’s and one Lo. Not bad for a weekends work. You could do the challenges over a week, but I find that too long and drawn out. I was thinking of
doing another Challenge but I ended up going off to Brisbane for the P!NK concert.
Pink was so AWESOME! I had the most fun. It was so hot and tiring too, we had to stand for ages, and sit on the ground lots Group 2 Sketch - Cardtoo. Was definitely worth it though. When she came out the pain disappeared lol. She talked to us all, gave lots of eye contact and the stunts she did were AMAZING!! I would go again!
