How To : Butterfly ATC's

This swap was for YSB, the theme was Butterfly. These are my ATC’s. I really like them they are bright and very shimmery in RL.

I was asked how I made these so I thought I'd put the answer here so you can all share in it.

Firstly I stamped with Versamark.
I have a plastic paint pallet(from the reject store) that has Tim Holtz re-inkers in it also has perfect pearls in some of the colours and I just add water when I need to use the colour. So for the background, I rewet the colours I needed and on a piece of white cardstock did a real wet wash mixing the colours slightly.
Then while that was drying on white cardstock I stamped the butterfly in Versamark, then pounced on perfect pearls. (you can see a vid on how to do this on Tim Hotlz blog) misted it with water to set and then cut it out and added the bling.
Stamped the prase and then added the butterfly to the ATC.
Lots of fun!

Girl Inchies

Here are my lovely girl inchies for YSB, I made seven of the same, and seven that are almost the same, just with a different girl. 6 is all that was needed for the swap, but I make an extra for my mother :D

Getting excited

I’m getting very excited I will be going away very soon and I am really looking forward to it! For those that don’t know. I am going to Brisbane for a week and then my best friend, her girlfriend and I are off to Thailand and Malaysia for 12 nights. I’ll be away from home for about 3 weeks.. Will I survive with out ATC’s?? Don’t fear, I have some stuff prepped to take LOL

I have never been to either country so it’s really exciting. I am looking forward to eating, shopping, swimming and getting massages :)
I’ve set up my ABC swap that I am in to post every day over the next 7 days so be sure to stop by and check them out. I have done A thru to G at the moment. I probably won’t get a chance to work on the others before I go away, so you’ll just have to wait :P
Here are some recent-ish ATC’s. The elephant and windmill are country swaps. First India and the second France. The Imagination one is a pink ribbon swap, and the last one was a spring swap.

Addiction?

   
I think maybe I am really an addict LOL I have finally finished sorting all my ATC’s I have something like 600 of the little suckers. Not bad considering I only started making them last April, that’s about 18 months ago.. Which means I make something like 30 ATC’s a month ahahah!

A layout I did for YSB last month as part of the monthly challenges. This month there are some great challenges up, but with going away I am not going to be able to play :( I am also going to miss the second cyber crop.. So head along and have some fun for me :)

Last but not least is Michael’s Mothers birthday card. I made it a week or two back. Her birthday isn’t until mid Nov, but I will be away so I did it early.. I hope he remembers to post it haha!!

I received our first swap back (Birds) and Wowo! Some are so awesome. I am going to take a photo of them because they are so lovely. I also have to blog about my ATC CJ that arrived home yesterday they are just magnificent! Each is just Woah!!!!!!!!!!  So expect another post very soon :)

First Inchies

I made my first ever Inchies, they are party theme and are for YSB, I hope they are right lol. they are about as big as they show up here, but if you click through you can see them bigger. The present one I did on it’s side.. I do hope that’s allowed LOL!!

Young Scrap Birds - CC

This weekend gone was the first YSB Cyber Crop. It was such great fun there was 4 scrapping challenges up over the 4 days and I managed to complete 3 of them. I am pretty proud of my efforts :) There was also lots of fun and games, I topped the games chart by a whopping 70 something points LOL. I am not sure what my prize is but I can’t wait to receive it. I received a lovely little package from Rachel this week for bingo that I won there. I also just won the Lotto there as well. I better stop playing the games or they won’t let me hang out anymore lol

  

Bird Swap

I made these cute Bird Motifs thanks to the great video supplied by the Crafts Beautiful Channel. Check it out. They are easy to make and you just use up scraps. I’ve made the atc’s for the first ever swap at Young Scrap Birds.
